While you and your friends surf the dream waves of the Mentawai Islands, we shoot your sessions and capture the experience. Now is your chance to be professionally photographed or filmed in perfect surf.

Experienced Photographers Shoot your trip
We recruit the best surf photographers and videographers in the world and one of our experienced team members will be aboard your surf charter to photograph your voyage. Over the last 6 seasons we have had hundreds of guests and taken tens of thousands of images. We know the surf breaks and how to shoot them, which means we’ll make you look your best whether your an ASP pro or a not-so-hardcore weekend warrior at the local beachy.

Professional Equipment
All of our photographers use professional high speed Canon Digital SLRs with calibrated Canon ‘L series’ lenses. This gives us the capability to capture each nuance of your turn or tube ride, frame by frame, with stunning ‘tack sharp’ clarity and save that perfect surfing moment. Our Videographers shoot in broadcast quality HD (1080i) with the latest technology. We can also do professional editing and make a movie of your adventure.

With our wide range of equipment we can shoot in the water with a water housing, from the land with a large telephoto lens, or from the boat or dinghy with a zoom lense. We also have various lenses for portraits, lifestyle and scenery shots. We shoot with the same equipment utilized to capture the images you see in magazines and surf videos, in fact, our professional team consists of regular contributors to surf and travel publications as well as professional surf videos.

Nightly Slideshows
Mentawai Television, Starring – You! There is no greater feeling than being surfed out after a day of epic waves. The only thing that could enhance the feeling is watching yourself surf the perfect waves you just enjoyed. Every evening you’ll do just that. We download the days photos and present an evening slideshow of you surfing on the big screen after dinner.

The evening slideshow usually ends up being one of the highlights of the trip. Yes, you can heckle your mates (watch out for karma), review a wipeout or give someone props on a barrel. It can also be used as a tool to see where the exit was on a tube ride, for example, or how well a particular board is working. Some of our repeat guests get into it with iPod music mixes and contests for best wave of the day determining priority the next day (the opposite for drop ins).

You will laugh out loud, be in awe of the waves and attain a feeling of complete stoke!

Peruse your portfolio during the trip and delete unwanted photos or just take home the whole lot – It’s your call. When your trip is complete you will have a professional portfolio of photos for a lifetime of surf memories.
